Raphael Landicho could not shoot 'Voltes V: Legacy' for over a year due to pandemic

Raphael Landicho said he could not shoot "Voltes V: Legacy" for over a year due to the pandemic.

This is due to the safety protocols for those under 15 years old during the community quarantine.

According to Nelson Canlas's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, the production made sure that Raphael would not lose his bond with his co-stars despite his Team Bahay status.

Raphael said he would often talk to his kuyas and ate—Miguel Tanfelix, Matt Lozano, Radson Flores, and Ysabel Ortega—online.

"Kaya nga po nung nag-meet kami in real life sobrang close na po kami agad kasi nagkakausap na po kami sa internet," he said.

The child actor will play the role of Little Jon, the pilot of Volt Frigate which becomes the legs of the Voltes V robot. He is the younger brother of Steve Armstrong and Big Bert.

"Si Little Jon is makulit, smart, genius, of course po pasaway," he said.

Asked what he felt when he first wore the Voltes V costume, Raphael said he felt amazed.

"Super cool po talaga kasi parang sobrang high tech nga po ng costume parang meron pa po kaming lights," he said.

"Voltes V: Legacy" will premiere on May 8 on GMA Telebabad.
