Ju Ji-hoon confirmed to star in new drama with Jun Ji-hyun

Ju Ji-hoon and Jun Ji-hyun will reportedly appear in a new drama penned by the writer of “Kingdom”!

According to Soompi, the “Kingdom” actor has been confirmed to star in a drama titled “Mount Jiri” reportedly with Jun Ji-hyun, about park rangers working together to rescue people.

The new drama is written by Kim Eun-hee, who is known for her work on “Ghost,” “Signal,” and the “Kingdom” series, and directed by Lee Eung-bok, whose work includes “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin,” and “Mr. Sunshine.”

Filming for the new South Korean series will reportedly begin this month and premiere is scheduled next year.

Jun Ji-hyun had a cameo on the last episode of “Kingdom,” and Kim Eun-hee had mentioned the possibility of having the actress as a lead character in season 3.

There were also reports of a “Kingdom” prequel in the form of a 70-minute film featuring the “My Love from the Star” actress. – RC, GMA News
