South Korean actress Oh In Hye passes away — reports

Oh In Hye has passed away on Monday September 14, Allkpop reports.

Citing an exclusive report from Dispatch, the K-pop culture website said "She was showing signs of recovery, however, did not wake up in the end."  

Soompi meanwhile cited the OSEN news outlet, which shared a quote from a source at the funeral parlor of Inha University Hospital saying, “The late Oh In Hye’s funeral visitation has been arranged at our hospital.”

Additionally, Soompi reports that the departure of the funeral procession will take place on September 16.

The unfortunate news a day came after Oh In Hye was reported to regain her breathing and pulse after she was found unconscious at home and was taken to the hospital early Monday.

According to a Soompi report Monday, Incheon Yeonsu Police Station and Incheon Songdo Fire Station revealed that around 5 a.m., KST on Monday, the 36-year-old actress was found in a state of cardiac arrest at her home in Songdo International Business District in Incheon.

The report said emergency procedures such as CPR were immediately performed on the South Korean actress and she was taken to a hospital nearby.

Citing Incheon Yeonsu Police Station in a statement issued to MK Sports, Soompi said "Oh In Hye’s pulse and breathing have returned," and is yet to regain consciousness.

While Soompi's report cited a police source that said a friend of Oh In Hye called the police station because they could not reach the actress, Allkpop said a friend actually found her and reported it.

There weren't any details yet, but there was a suspicion of a suicide attempt, the source added.

Koreaboo on Tuesday ran a report stating the actress did commit suicide. 

Oh In Hye starred in shows such as "The Plan," "Wish Taxi," and "No Breathing" among others.
