House of Kobe marks first death anniversary of Kobe Bryant, daughter Gianna

The House of Kobe in Valenzuela City marked the first anniversary of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna on Tuesday.

A banner for the Los Angeles Lakers' 2020 championship with the words "For Kobe" was raised in the rafters.

The groundbreaking of Gigi's Cradle, a new multi-purpose hall and youth center in honor of Gianna, was also held on the same day.

Several paintings went on display in an art exhibit and new markers were also unveiled as tribute to the legacy of the Black Mamba.

Kobe and Gianna passed away last year along with seven others when their helicopter crashed on the hills of Calabasas, California amid foggy weather.

The father and daughter were on their way to a basketball game in Thousand Oaks when the tragedy occurred.
