Ray Parks scores 12 as Nagoya downs Gunma; Paras, Ramos handed B.League losses

Ray Parks, Jr. finished in double-digits as the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins won over the Gunma Crane Thunders, 100-90, in the Japan Professional Basketball League (B.League) on Sunday.

The former PBA player notched 12 points, five rebounds, and two assists in their sixth win of 11 games in the tournament.

Nagoya had the advantage at the end of the first half, 51-39, before the Dolphins pulled away and led by as much as 19, 70-51, at the 4:41 mark of the third period.

Parks and the Dolphins will see action on Wednesday against the Hiroshima Dragonflies.

Meanwhile, Dwight Ramos and the Toyama Grouses suffered a 87-74 loss to the Kawasaki Brave Thunders. Ramos was limited to only eight points in the loss.

Toyama, which dropped to 1-10, will play Kyoto Hannaryz on Wednesday.

Kobe Paras and his team Niigata Albirex BB also registered a loss against the Ryukyu Golden Kings, 71-63. The second-generation player only had five points in the match.

Niigata (2-9) will try to bounce back against the Kawasaki Brave Thunders on Wednesday.
