Robert Bolick re-signs with NorthPort

Robert Bolick has decided to stay put with Northport amid circulating reports that he had received offers to play as import in the Japan B.League.

Batang Pier team manager Bonnie Tan confirmed the news to GMA News Online but bared Bolick will likely sit out today's game against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at 6:45 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum.

Tan also did not delve into details of Bolick's contract but said the deal was only finalized on Friday after the star guard hit free agency weeks ago.

"Nakapirma na siya but 'yung details 'di na muna namin sasabihin," said Tan in an interview on Saturday afternoon.

"But baka 'di na muna siya maglalaro mamaya pero kasama naman siya ng team."

Tan also said Northport management gave its full blessing on Bolick's inclusion in the Gilas Pilipinas pool for the February window of the 2023 FIBA World CUp Asian Qualifiers set later this month here.

"Full blessing naman 'yung sa Gilas niya para din makatulong tayo sa country," added Tan.
