By JUSTIN KENNETH CARANDANG,GMA News

From hoops to food, Fil-Am NBA player Jalen Green got a taste of Manila's vibrant street culture in a part of his tour on Thursday at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

The Fil-Am player, who arrived in a car with a design inspired by him, was welcomed by many of his fans in a mini car show.

"This is crazy," Green said as he was welcomed by fans.

Green also showed some of his highlight dunks along with other Filipino players.

A graffiti wall showing Manila's hoops culture was also in the venue. The graffiti wall was designed by artists Quiccs and Egg Fiasco.

Toy designer Quiccs also gave a Jalen-inspired toy to the Fil-Am player.

Green also had a taste of Filipino street foods, barbeque and chicken balls, which he described as great. He even used his hands to eat the chicken balls!

Also a big Manny Pacquiao fan, Jalen received Pacquiao-signed gloves from Pacquiao supporters.

Green admitted that one person he talks with about the Philippines is his fellow Fil-Am NBA player Jordan Clarkson.

"We just shared a little moment when we had a Filipino Heritage night in Houston," he recalled. "We were talking about everything we liked about the Philippines, our experiences in the Philippines."
