Rhenz Abando's Anyang reaches KBL finals

Filipino import Rhenz Abando and Anyang KGC routed the Goyang Carrot Jumpers, 89-61, to advance to the finals round of the 2023 Korean Basketball League (KBL) on Wednesday at the Goyang Stadium.

Abando went scoreless in 10 minutes of action but contributed four rebounds and one block as they finished off the best-of-five semifinals series with a 3-1 slate.

Seonggon Moon showed the way for Anyang, finishing with 22 points, seven rebounds, and two assists while Oh Se-geun and Jung Joon-won chipped in 16 markers each.

Anyang will face defending champion Seoul SK Nights with the Game 1 slated on Tuesday, April 25, at the Anyang Indoor Gymnasium.
