Klay Thompson reveals being a fan of Manny Pacquiao, Bruno Mars

Klay Thompson revealed on Thursday that he is a fan of global icons Manny Pacquiao and Bruno Mars.

The Golden State Warriors star is in Manila for a series of events organized by sports brand Anta and he shared his fascination with the said personalities.

"I'm such a fan of Manny Pacquiao, I've watched him box my whole life. He's one of my favorite athletes," Thompson said in a press conference, adding that he used to watch Pacquiao's fights.

"To hang out and see him train was very special," he added.

Hours after the press conference, Thompson visited Pacquiao, according to a post by MPBL.

Back in 2021, Thompson also visited the eight-division champion while training for the boxer's fight against Yordenis Ugas.

Thompson also talked about Fil-Am Grammy winner Bruno Mars.

"He reminds me so much of Michael Jackson. I love his music. It's the same feeling, it's global, it's for everybody."

Aside from Thompson, teammate Kevon Looney also joined him in his visit to the country.
