Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao said he is "feeling young" ahead of his fight against Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas.

In a press conference on Wednesday (Las Vegas time), Pacquiao was asked why he underwent "old school" Pacquiao training, such as going through painful ab workouts.

"I feel young," the 42-year old Pacquiao said. "Sorry, I'm 24," he said in jest.

"I'm just happy doing this. Boxing is my passion. I'm enjoying doing training camp. I'm excited to undergo sacrifices and discipline, especially to prepare for a fight like this. I'm always happy," he added.

Pacquiao said even the members of his coaching staff were trying to stop him for training because he might get overworked.

"I think for the [Keith] Thurman fight, in my everyday training, I did 25-28 rounds a day but this time I did 30 rounds, 32 rounds, sometimes 31," the Filipino boxing champ said.

And for those asking if this will be his last fight in the ring, Pacquiao said, "It might be my last fight or there's more. One at a time."

"You have to watch this fight. It's gonna be a good action in the ring. You'll be happy. I'll do my best because I love to do that—to make my fans happy."

Watch Pacquiao's fight against Ugas for the WBA welterweight title on Sunday, August 22 (Manila time) on GMA Network and listen for blow-by-blow updates on Super Radyo DZBB.
