Blacklist's OhMyV33nus sets MPL Philippines record for most assists in a season

Johnmar "OhMyV33nus" Villaluna further cemented his status as one of the top players in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines.

The Blacklist International team captain etched his name in the record books after tallying 443 assists in Season 8, the most ever by any player in a season in the history of the league.

OhMyV33nus now has a total of 1,756 assists in his career.

It was another achievement for The Queen, who piloted the team to a stellar 13-1 regular season record en route to back-to-back championships.

Together with Danerie James "Wise" Del Rosario, the V33Wise duo has now featured in all but one grand finals since their entry in the pro league in Season 4.

OhMyV33nus' brilliant shotcalling was instrumental for Blacklist as they developed their meta centered around his comfort picks, which made waves not only in the Philippines but also across the Southeast Asian professional leagues.

The Tier One-backed squad is currently preparing for the MPL Invitational. Seeded in the quarterfinals, the team is waiting for the winner between Cambodia's See You Soon and Indonesia's Bigetron Alpha to determine their first opponent.
