Letran remains undefeated; LPU, EAC score wins in MLBB Varsity Cup

Colegio de San Juan de Letran remained undefeated in the 2021 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Varsity Cup after escaping San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 2-1, in the Day 4 of the qualifiers on Saturday.

The Knights, bannered by Fran Yu, Jeo Ambohot, Allen Mina, King Caralipio, Shan Bautista, and Jap Pambid, will now improve their standing to 3-0 while SSC-R dropped to 1-2.

Meanwhile, both the Lyceum of the Philippines University and the Emilio Aguinaldo College notched wins in their respective campaigns today.

The Generals, composed of Kyle Carlos, Jomar Amador, Ralph Vincent Robin, Adrian De Guzman, and Christian Angelo Cabuhat swept the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, 2-0.

The Pirates also scored victory, turning back Jose Rizal University, 2-0.

Only the top eight teams after the qualifiers will advance to the playoff round where the top four are seeded to the upper bracket. The bottom four will battle it out in the lower bracket.
