Demonkite keeps RSG undefeated as they take down Omega

RSG Philippines scored their third sweep of the season, this time against Omega Esports, 2-0, in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Saturday.

The Panda-mentored squad now sits atop the standings with 9pts to boot, a point ahead of Echo, the other remaining undefeated team this season.

RSG opted for a Fanny jungler and Jonard Cedrix “Demonkite” Caranto responded superbly, scoring a 3-0-1 KDA by the 4th minute to set the tone for Game 1.

Although Omega managed to survive up until deep into late game, RSG scored a crucial 2-0 pick off in the 20th minute to go up 1-0.

Demonkite finished with a 7-1-8 KDA  to RSG's 17-6 kill domination of the reigning MLBB Southeast Asian champions.

RSG once again went with the Fanny jungler in Game 2 resulting in a quick 2-0-1 KDA by Demonkite that he extended into a 4-0-3 KDA by the 9th minute.

Things looked dangerous for RSG though as Omega came knocking in the 10th minute, shutting down Demonkite then securing the lord to take some map control.

But RSG scored a decisive 4-2 exchange in a 15th minute lord fight to complete the sweep.

Omega dropped to their third consecutive loss via sweep.
