Nexplay EVOS cite flat tire as reason for no-show vs ECHO

After failing to appear in time for their match against Echo in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 9 on Sunday, Nexplay Evos revealed a flat tire was the reason for their no-show.

In a statement, Nexplay pointed out that they left their bootcamp in Angeles, Pampanga four hours before their game, which is their usual routine when going into the MPL games.

"On the way, the trip was delayed by a flat tire and it took around one hour before help came," the team said. "We continued to NLEX where we experienced an unexpected heavy traffic which led us to arriving much later than expected at the venue," it added.

Nexplay said the situation they encountered yesterday was beyond their control.

The team also apologized to the MPL, the fans, and to the Mobile Legends community. "This is by no means an excuse for us and we would like you to know that we will always strive to deliver our best in every game."

With Nexplay's non-appearance, Echo was awarded the full three points for their scheduled match.
