Archery bets win silver and bronze; athletics, gymnastics, taekwondo net more bronzes for Team Philippines

National team athletes continued to add medals to Team Philippines' collection from the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Archers Paul Marton Dela Cruz and Jennifer Chan will bring home a silver medal after falling to Malaysia in the finals of the mixed team compound event.

 

 

Dela Cruz, Flor Matan, and Johann Olaño also claimed a medal in the men's team compound event after defeating Thailand in the bronze medal match.

 

 

Another gymnast also bagged a medal for the country as Breanna Labadan finished third in the rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around event with 96.650 points behind Malaysia's Sie Yan Koi and Joe Ee Ng.

 

 

In canoeing, the duo of Hermie Macaranas and Ojay Fuentes clocked in 04:09.851 to finish third and claim the bronze medal in the men's canoe double 1000 meters event.

Samuel Morrison also had a bronze medal in the taekwondo kyorugi male-U60kg event, while Israel Cesar Cantos had his own in the male -87kg event.

 

  

 

 

Ivan Christopher Agustin, meanwhile, took a bronze in the men's 84 kg event of karate kumite.
