Bren Esports bids farewell to Lusty

It's the end of an era as Bren Esports formally bid goodbye to Allan "Lusty" Castromayor.

The organization announced the development on Tuesday night, putting an end to Lusty's stint of more than two years with the squad, which saw a number of successes in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene.

"Journeys have a starting point and a destination. We are neither. We are forever grateful for stopping over with us as you make your way to the other great things you can accomplish," the team said in a Facebook post.

Lusty had been a key figure for Bren, helping the team cop the M2 World Championship title — the first for a Philippine representative — alongside fellow veteran players Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, and CJ “Ribo” Ribo.

In 2019, they were also part of the pioneering Sibol squad that ruled the 30th Southeast Asian Games. Lusty joined Bren in MPL Season 5 and would help the team cop its first pro league crown the following season.

Bren didn't say what Lusty's next plans would be but the seasoned tank thanked the team for letting him prove himself in a separate post.

"Thank you for letting me prove myself again," Lusty said.
