RSG makes quick work of Onic, sets up upper bracket clash vs Echo

RSG Slate Philippines cruised to a 3-0 sweep against Onic Philippines during their playoff encounter on Thursday in the MPL Philippines Season 11 at the SMX Convention Center.

With the dominant win, RSG has set up an upper bracket clash with second seed and M4 world champion Echo on Friday.

Onic, meanwhile, joined Smart Omega as the first two eliminated teams in the playoffs.

RSG hacked out a lopsided 14-1 kill spread in Game 1 with gold laner Emann unleashing a perfect KDA line of seven kills and two assists with no death on his Karrie as the only objective Onic secured was one turtle.

Using Hayabusa, jungler Irrad steered RSG to a commanding 2-0 lead with a 8-1-9 KDA before Nathzz's Arlott proved crucial in the last game as he finished it off with 5-0-6 line.

RSG is looking to reach the finals, where two tickets to the annual MSC tournament are at stake. They are the defending champions in the said regional tournament after ruling the event last year in Malaysia.
