Demetrious Johnson emerges victorious in Moraes trilogy at ONE Fight Night 10

Reigning ONE flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson emerged victorious in his trilogy with Adriano Moraes following a unanimous decision nod over the latter in the main event of ONE Fight Night this Saturday at 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado.

Both fighters felt each other out looking to land clean shots of their own in the opening round. Moraes was the aggressor in round two, landing punches here and there before engaging in a clinch on the side of the cage.

Moraes started to lose steam in round three but Johnson failed to capitalize on it as he was unable to land a telling blow. Johnson stepped on the gas the following round, throwing strikes with bad intentions.

Johnson fought with urgency in the fifth and final round while Moraes looked gassed and unable to pull anything off. All three judges saw the fight for Johnson after five five-minute rounds, improving his record to 25-4-1 while Moraes dropped to 20-5.
