F2 Logistics faced a tough test in its return to the hardcourt after two years but came away with a sweep win over California Precision Sports, 25-21, 25-14, 25-19, in the PNVF Champions League on Saturday.

The Cargo Movers struggled to shake off rust in the opening set, finding themselves down the majority of the set but veterans Aby Maraño and Majoy Baron helped them get back on track for a 21-18 cushion.

It was Kalei Mau who closed out the first frame with four straight attacks, 25-21.

F2 had a better showing in the second set, limiting the new club to only 14 points as Maraño continued to hit from the front line.

A one-two punch from setter Iris Tolenada brought F2 up by five at the second technical timeout, 16-11, before Tin Tiamzon gave them their first match point at 24-16.

California would then score three straight points but Baron sealed the deal with an emphatic denial.
