Philippines bows down to Indonesia to cap winless campaign in ASEAN Grand Prix

The Philippines bowed down to Indonesia in straight sets, 26-24, 25-22, 25-23, to conclude its winless campaign in the 2022 ASEAN Grand Prix in Indonesia.

Jema Galanza led the offense for the national squad with 16 points while Michele Gumabao and Ced Domingo added 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Megawati Hangesri Pertiwi tallied 21 points to lead Indonesia to the bronze medal place finish.

The Creamline-bannered squad also lost to Thailand and Vietnam in the four-country pocket tournament.
