Philippines to play for bronze after semis loss to Thais in SEAG women's volleyball

The Philippines' bid for a medal in the women's volleyball event of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games took a turn as the Filipina spikers fell to defending champs Thailand, 25-22, 25-9, 25-12, in the semifinals on Saturday in Cambodia.

Prior to the semifinals, the nationals placed second behind undefeated Vietnam in Group B with two wins and a loss.

The Philippines will play the loser of the match between Indonesia and Vietnam in the bronze medal match on Sunday.
