NLEX Corp. warns of heavy traffic after Holy Week break

NLEX Corp., the operator of the North Luzon Expressway, on Saturday advised motorists of heavy traffic from April 17 to April 18 as those who took their Holy Week break head back to Metro Manila.

“Please expect a high volume of vehicles going to Manila from Sunday afternoon, April 17 until early Monday morning, April 18,” NLEX said.

“Plan your trips accordingly. Maintain safe braking distance. Drive safely,” it said.

Two years after the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the traditional Holy Week vacations, many Filipinos went out of Metro Manila to travel for both leisure and religious purposes. — DVM, GMA News
