OCTA: NCR COVID-19 positivity rate increases to 19%

The seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) slightly rose to 19% from the previous 18.7%, independent monitoring group OCTA Research said Wednesday.

OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David reported that NCR’s positivity rate increased from 18.7% on September 26, to 19% on October 3.

This was however a bit lower than the 19.1% positivity rate recorded on October 2.

Positivity rate refers to the percentage of people who were found positive for COVID-19 among the total number of individuals tested.
