Maynilad customers in Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, other areas to have water service interruption

Some customers of Maynilad Water Services Inc. will experience water service interruptions from Saturday, February 4, to Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

Among the areas affected are Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Cavite, Parañaque, and Pasay City, according to a report on News Live on Saturday.

Maynilad said the water service is affected due to the high raw water turbidity brought on by the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) winds.

"We encourage our affected customers to store enough water when supply is available. Upon resumption of water service, please let the water flow out briefly until it clears," the company said in a statement.

It added that mobile tankers will go around affected areas to deliver potable water, while customers may get water in stationary water tanks installed in several areas.

"We apologize for the inconvenience," Maynilad said.
