Kiko Pangilinan is Robredo's running-mate in Eleksyon 2022 —sources

Vice President Leni Robredo has picked Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan as her running-mate in the 2022 elections, a source from Robredo's camp said Thursday.

The same source, who refused to be named for lack of authority to speak on the matter, said Pangilinan is expected to accompany Robredo when she files for candidacy for president on Thursday afternoon.

Another source, this time from Liberal Party, confirmed the information.

This, even as Pangilinan, the LP president, has earlier accepted the party's nomination for him to run for reelection in 2022.

Robredo, the LP chairperson, announced her intention to run for president earlier in the day, ending months of anticipation.  —KBK, GMA News
