PNP COVID-19 cases reach 42,158

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Saturday said the number of COVID-19 cases among its personnel reached 42,158.

This was after seven new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Saturday by the PNP Health Service.

The total number of active cases is 116.

Recoveries numbered 41,917 after nine cases recovered.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained at 125.

The Department of Health on Friday recorded 1,485 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 2,823,210.

Active infections stood at 23,200.

Total recoveries climbed by 1,393 to 2,753,312 while 277 new fatalities pushed the death toll to 46,698. —KG, GMA News
