BOQ deputy director Salvador, over 50 others, positive for COVID-19

Bureau of Quarantine deputy director Dr. Roberto Salvador Jr. on Friday said that he and more of their personnel have tested positive for COVID-19.

Interviewed on Super Radyo dzBB, Salvador said around 60 personnel of the bureau are currently infected by the disease.

“Nasa 60 na po kami kasama na po ako (Around 60 BOQ personnel have COVID-19 including me),” he said.

According to Salvador, he is currently under quarantine but still performing his duty as the deputy director of the bureau.

He said he is experiencing high fever, colds, and cough but starting to recover from the disease. — RSJ, GMA News
