Davao Medical School grad leads 733 passers of midwifery licensure exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday that 733 out of 1,599 examinees have passed the licensure examination for midwifery.

Ma. Isabella Navales of Davao Medical School Foundation topped the exam with a rating of 96.60 percent.

Hyacinth Pacano Bueno of Isabela State University-Ilagan came in second with 89.55%, followed by Jasmin Angelica Ocalo Ibalin of Ago Medical & Educational Center-Bicol Christian College of Medicine with 89.20%.

The top performing schools with 15 or more examinees with at least 80 percent passing percentage are Isabela State University-Ilagan (100%); St. Alexius College (95.65%); Ifugao State University-Potia (94.12%); Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines Foundation School of Midwifery (80.95%); and Iloilo Doctor’s College (80%).

The exam was given by the Board of Midwifery and held in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The commission said the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certification of Registration will be done online from May 10 to 23, 2022.
