PNP COVID-19 tally now at 48,863 with one new infection

One new COVID-19 case has been reported among Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel, the police organization said on Wednesday.

Based on data from PNP Health Service, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the PNP has increased to 48,863.

Of this number, only one is an active case while the total number of recoveries climbed to 48,733.

No new deaths were recorded, as the death toll remained at 129.

The Philippines on Tuesday reported 158 fresh COVID-19 cases, the lowest daily tally this year. Total confirmed infections are now at 3,683,367. — Mel Matthew Doctor/BM, GMA News
