At the Laging Handa public briefing, DILG spokesperson Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said Friday the Commission on Elections and the Philippine National Police can address possible disruptions.

“Kung saka-sakali man na may magtangkang i-disrupt ang ating elections sa Mayo 9, may contingency plan na po ang Comelec and they have prepared and made ready the civil disturbance unit of the PNP,” he said.
