PPCRV records 100% match with over 16K election returns

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Thursday reported a 100% match between the 16,820 election returns it has processed and the tally in transparency media server for the 2022 elections.

The said 16,820 ERs that were validated by the election watchdog were part of the 24,640 ERs it received as of Thursday at 11:20 a.m.

These ERS came from Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Ilocos Norte, Sorsogon, Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan, Rizal, and Misamis Occidental.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec), sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), has canvassed a total of 121 Certificates of Canvass as of Thursday.

Actor Robin Padilla still topped the senatorial elections based on the partial and official canvassing results in four regions released by the NBOC on Thursday morning with 13,231,228 votes. —Giselle NB, GMA News
