Marcos: Paul Soriano not part of 'PR machine'
By ANNA FELICIA BAJO,GMA News President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. clarified on Wednesday that film director Paul Soriano, who was appointed as Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications, would not be part of Malacañang's "PR machine."
"'Yung kay Paul Soriano, people have misunderstood. He’s not there to be part of the PR machine. He’s there to find ways to promote the creative industry kasi doon siya galing," Marcos said.

(That's included in tourism. We have to be proud of it. Filipinos are good at singing, acting, and creating films, et cetera. We have to project that to the rest of the world. That's Paul's job.)
Marcos earlier said Soriano had agreed to get a salary of P1 a year.
Soriano, who was behind Marcos' campaign advertisements in the last elections, had said it was an “absolute honor” to be given the opportunity to serve the country and the Marcos administration.
