DOH: Philippines registers 810 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health (DOH) on Wednesday logged 810 fresh COVID-19 infections in the country—the lowest daily tally in nearly two weeks.

This brings the total nationwide caseload to 4,020,965 and decreases the country’s active cases to 18,824, according to the DOH bulletin.

Total recoveries increased to 18,824 while the death toll rose by 12 to 64,432.

The highest number of new infections in the last 14 days was monitored in the National Capital Region with 2,945 cases. It was followed by Region IV-A with 1,772; Western Visayas with 1,413; Central Luzon with 1,046 and Central Visayas with 927.

At least 14,068 individuals were tested for COVID-19 on Tuesday, November 15, while 344 laboratories submitted their results. — Sundy Locus/BM, GMA Integrated News
