Maynilad customers in parts of NCR, Cavite to have water service interruption until Feb. 14

Customers of Maynilad Water Services in parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) and Cavite are experiencing water service interruptions which will last until Tuesday, February 14.

Maynilad said affected customers are in Las Piñas City, Muntinlupa City, Parañaque City, and Pasay City in NCR, and Bacoor City, Cavite City, Imus City, Noveleta, and Rosario in Cavite.

The water service interruptions are "due to prolonged high raw water turbidity brought on by Amihan winds."

"We encourage our affected customers to store enough water when supply is available," Maynilad said.

The company said its mobile water tankers are going around affected areas to deliver potable water. It also has stationary water tanks in several areas, Maynilad added.

The company advised customers that once water service is resumed, they should let the water flow out first from their faucets until it clears.
