Mild quake hits off coast of Itbayat, Batanes

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Itbayat in Batanes early Wednesday morning, PHIVOLCS reported.

The quake, which was tectonic in origin, occurred at 3:10 a.m. with a depth of 184 kilometers.

PHIVOLCS also reported that there are no damages expected. However, the residents should expect some aftershocks. -- BAP, GMA News
