DILG, alam kung nasaan si VP Sara noong Biyernes ng gabi

Inilahad ni Interior Secretary Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Remulla nitong Sabado na alam na ng Department of the Interior and Local Government ang kinaroroonan ni Vice President Sara Duterte noong Biyernes ng gabi, ngunit hindi naghain ng warrant of arrest laban sa kaniya kaugnay ng kasong grave threats nito.

Ito ang sinabi ni Remulla ilang oras matapos magpiyansa si Duterte sa Quezon City Hall of Justice, na sinabing wala itong tiwala sa korte at sa pulisya.

Sinabi ni Duterte na nakapagdokumento rin siya ng mga banta laban sa kaniyang buhay simula noong 2023.

"It's very unfortunate that all the pressure in her life is affecting her perception. The PNP accorded her all the respect her position deserves," sabi ni Remulla sa isang pahayag,

"We have all the body cam footage of her warrants being served. We have all the body cam footage of her arrival to post bail. We knew of her whereabouts the night before, but we did not force the warrant of arrest," sabi ni Remulla.

Nagpiyansa si Duterte ng P360,000 para sa tatlong count ng grave threats na winika niya laban kina Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, at dating Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Sinabi ng bise presidente na mas gusto niya ang proteksyon ng mga sibilyan, at manatili sa paningin ng publiko.

Sa kanilang bahagi, sinabi ng PNP na bibigyang-pansin nito ang mga alalahanin ng bise presidente, at nangako na babantayan nito ang sitwasyon.

"To date, however, the Vice President has not reported to the PNP any threat to her life or to the safety of her family, including the threats she said date back to 2023. Likewise, the PNP has not monitored any verified threat against the Vice President or her family," sabi ni PNP chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. sa isang pahayag.

Habang nasa labas siya ng Quezon City Hall of Justice, sinabi ni Duterte na nakatanggap siya ng mga pagbabanta simula pa noong 2023, ang taon kung kailan siya humiwalay sa administrasyon. Gayunpaman, hindi na siya nagbigay ng karagdagang detalye.

Sinabi rin ni Nartatez na binigyan ng pulisya ng seguridad si Duterte nang magpiyansa siya. Ligtas siyang nakarating at nakalabas ng korte.

"The PNP remains open to receiving any document, report, or statement concerning the reported threats," sabi ni Nartatez. –NB, GMA News
