VP Sara Duterte impeachment trial to start July 6, Erwin Tulfo says

Senator Erwin Tulfo on Thursday said the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte is expected to begin on July 6 following a caucus among senators.

nterviewed on GMA News’ Unang Balita, Tulfo said Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano had already discussed the proposed schedule with members of the Senate.

“Nagbigay na po ng schedule kahapon. Ipinatawag po ng caucus of all members ni SP Cayetano at July 6 po ang umpisa ng ika nga impeachment trial,” Tulfo said.

(The schedule was given yesterday. SP Cayetano called for a caucus of all members, and the beginning of the impeachment trial is set on July 6.)
