RAINFALL ALERT: Red in Zambales, parts of Bataan; Orange in Pampanga, 4 areas (Friday, 11 a.m.)
A Red Rainfall Warning has been raised in Zambales and parts of Bataan Friday morning due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its advisory released 11 a.m., PAGASA said the following areas are under rainfall warning:Red Rainfall Warning (Serious flooding in flood-prone areas)
- Zambales
- Bataan (Morong, Hermosa, Dinalupihan)
Orange Rainfall Warning (Flooding is still threatening)
- Pampanga
- Tarlac
- Bulacan
- Bataan (Abucay, Bagac, Balanga, Limay, Mariveles, Orani, Orion, Pilar, Samal)
- Nueva Ecija (Guimba, Santo Domingo, Talavera, Llanera, Rizal, Bongabon, Gabaldon, Laur, Palayan, General Mamerto Natividad, Cabanatuan, Aliaga, Quezon, Licab, Zaragoza, Jaen, Santa Rosa, San Leonardo, San Isidro, San Antonio, Cabiao, Gapan, General Tinio, Penaranda)

Yellow Rainfall Warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)
- Metro Manila
- Rizal
- Cavite (Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Noveleta, Cavite City, Rosario, Tanza, Naic, Ternate, Maragondon, General Trias, Magallanes, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Alfonso)
- Batangas (Nasugbu, Lian, Calatagan)
- Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, Cuyapo, Lupao, Nampicuan, Pantabangan, San Jose, Munoz, Talugtug)
Also, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting General Nakar, Quezon, which may persist for three hours and may affect nearby areas.
PAGASA advised the public and the disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to monitor the weather condition.
