RAINFALL ALERT: Orange in parts of Zambales, Bataan; Yellow in Metro Manila, 7 areas (Sept. 7, 11 a.m.)
Due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), an Orange rainfall warning has been raised in portions of Zambales and Bataan, while a Yellow rainfall warning has been issued over Metro Manila and seven more areas, as of Monday morning.
In its 11 a.m. advisory, PAGASA put the following areas under Orange and Yellow rainfall warnings:
Orange Rainfall Warning (Flooding is threatening)
- Zambales (Subic, Olongapo, Castillejos, San Marcelino, San Antonio, Palauig, Iba, San Felipe, San Narciso, Botolan, Cabangan)
- Bataan (Hermosa, Dinalupihan, Morong)
- Yellow Rainfall Warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)
- Cavite
- Pampanga (Floridablanca, Porac, Lubao)
- Bataan (Orani, Abucay, Bagac, Balanga, Limay, Mariveles, Orion, Pilar, Samal)
- Laguna (Pakil, Mabitac, Santa Maria, Siniloan, Famy, Pangil, Paete, Kalayaan, Lumban, Pagsanjan, Cavinti, Pila, Santa Cruz, Victoria, San Pedro, Biñan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, Calamba, Bay, Calauan, Nagcarlan, Magdalena, Liliw, Los Baños)
- Rizal (Jala-Jala, Pililla, Binangonan, Cardona)
- Batangas (Nasugbu, Calaca, Laurel, Lemery, Balayan, Tuy, Calatagan, Lian, Tanauan, Talisay)
- Metro Manila (Muntinlupa, Las Piñas)
- Zambales (Masinloc, Candelaria)
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains is expected to persist within the next three hours in the following areas:
- Zambales (Santa Cruz)
- Tarlac (Camiling, San Clemente, Mayantoc, Santa Ignacia, San Jose, Capas, Bamban)
- Pampanga (Angeles, Mabalacat, Mexico, San Fernando, Santa Rita, Bacolor, Guagua, Sasmuan, Masantol, Macabebe, Minalin, Santo Tomas, San Simon, San Luis, Apalit)
- Bulacan (Calumpit, Hagonoy, San Rafael, Baliuag, Pulilan, Malolos, Paombong, Plaridel, Guiguinto, Bulakan, Bocaue, Balagtas, Pandi, Bustos, Angat, Santa Maria)
- Metro Manila (Parañaque, Taguig, Pasay, Pasig, Makati, Pateros)
- Rizal (Angono, Teresa, Morong, Tanay, Antipolo, Baras, Cainta, Taytay)
- Batangas (Santo Tomas, San Pascual, San Jose, Lipa, Mataasnakahoy, Balete, Malvar, Agoncillo, San Nicolas, Taal, San Luis, Bauan, Mabini, Alitagtag, Santa Teresita, Cuenca)

According to PAGASA, light to moderate with occasional heavy rain, is also expected over Nueva Ecija within the next three hours.
