RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in parts of Bataan; Moderate rains in Metro Manila, 8 areas (Tuesday, 8 a.m.)
A Yellow Rainfall Warning has been raised in parts of Bataan on Tuesday morning due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 8 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said the following areas are under rainfall warning:
Yellow Rainfall Warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)
• Bataan (Hermosa, Abucay, Balanga, Dinalupihan, Morong, Orani, Samal, Bagac, Orion, Pilar).
Meanwhile, light to moderate rains are expected within the next three hours over the following areas:
• Metro Manila
• Quezon
• Laguna
• Tarlac
• Rizal
• Nueva Ecija
• Cavite
• Batangas
• Bataan (Limay, Mariveles)
Also, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting the following and nearby areas, which may persist within three hours:
• Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, San Marcelino, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Felipe, San Narciso)
• Pampanga (Floridablanca, Lubao, Sasmuan, Macabebe, Masantol, Porac, Bacolor, Minalin, Guagua, Santa Rita)
• Bulacan (Hagonoy)
PAGASA advised the public as well as concerned disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned to monitor the weather condition.
