RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in Zambales, Bataan, 3 other areas (Tuesday, 2 p.m.)

The state weather bureau on Tuesday issued a Yellow Rainfall Warning over Zambales, Bataan, and 3 other areas following the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, according to PAGASA.

In its 2 p.m. advisory, PAGASA said the following areas are under rainfall warning:

Yellow Rainfall Warning (Flooding in flood-prone areas)

• Zambales
• Bataan
• Tarlac (San Clemente, Camiling, San Jose, Santa Ignacia, Mayantoc, Tarlac City, La Paz, Concepcion, Capas, Bamban)
• Pampanga (Mabalacat, Arayat, Magalang, Santa Ana, Masantol, Macabebe, Minalin, Bacolor, Guagua, Sasmuan, Lubao, Santa Rita, Floridablanca, Porac, San Fernando, Santo Tomas, Mexico, Angeles)
• Nueva Ecija (San Antonio, Cabiao, Licab, Zaragoza)

PAGASA said that light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are also expected within the next three hours over the following areas:

• Metro Manila
• Rizal
• Quezon
• Batangas
• Laguna

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains will affect the following:

• Cavite (Naic, Ternate, Maragondon, Cavite City, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza)
• Bulacan (Calumpit, Hagonoy, Paombong, San Miguel)
• Pampanga (Apalit, Candaba, San Luis, San Simon)
• Tarlac (Anao, Gerona, Paniqui, Pura, Ramos, San Manuel, Victoria, Moncada)
• Nueva Ecija (Guimba, Jaen, San Isidro, Aliaga, Cuyapo, Nampicuan, Quezon, Santo Domingo, Talugtug, San Leonardo, Cabanatuan, Santa Rosa, Talavera, Munoz, Gabaldon, General Tinio, Gapan, Laur, Palayan, Penaranda)

PAGASA advised the public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned to monitor the weather condition.
