Barbie Forteza teases what fans can expect in 'P77'

Barbie Forteza shared intriguing words about her upcoming mind-bending horror movie, P77, which will be shown in cinemas starting on Wednesday, July 30.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Barbie teased the public about what they can expect when they watch P77.
She said, “It is a movie about acceptance. It will give you goosebumps, pero it will give you the closure that you need about family, and about yourself.
“It’s about accepting yourself wholeheartedly. It’s also awareness type of film for the people like Luna na ‘wag niyong i-take for granted ang mga Luna sa buhay niyo dahil hindi niyo alam ang pinagdadanan ng mga Luna.
“’Yung talagang bitbit niya lahat, e, lahat ng responsibilidad, lahat ng trauma, lahat ng real-life horror, at pinagdaanan niyang lahat ‘yun nang mag-isa.”
Barbie added that P77 tackles PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In the movie, she portrays Luna, a breadwinner who was thrust into carrying the weight of her family when her mother suddenly went missing while working in P77.
She explained, “We delicately would like to convey a message na always check on your Lunas in your family dahil hindi niyo alam na ‘yung pinagdadaanan nila ay mag-send pa sa kanila ng furthur real-life trauma, real-life horror.”

P77 is a mind-bending horror film directed by Derick Cabrido and written by Enrico Santos, based on an original concept by Anj Atienza and Kristian Julao. It is distributed by Warner Bros. Philippines.
