From the Oscars shortlist back to the big screen!
Award-winning film Green Bones is making its return to Philippine cinemas, joining other remarkable titles in a special showcase of the country’s finest works.
Recently, the inspirational-drama film was announced as part of The Shortlist: Selected Contenders and the Official Philippine Entry for the 98th Academy Awards.
Organized by the Film Academy of the Philippines and its partners, the event celebrates the nation’s official entry to the Oscars while shining a spotlight on equally outstanding contenders.
Alongside Green Bones, screenings will feature Food Delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea (Baby Ruth Villarama), Some Nights I Feel Like Walking (Petersen Vargas), Song of the Fireflies (King Palisoc), and the official entry Magellan (Lav Diaz).
The event will take place at Robinsons Galleria Movieworld CINEMA 4 on September 19 to 20.

Last month, GMA Pictures proudly announced that Green Bones joined the dazzling Oscars shortlist alongside collaboration film Hello, Love, Again.

It also received prestigious recognitions in other award-giving bodies such as the 8th Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards (The EDDYS), 73rd FAMAS Awards, and more.
