'Green Bones' leads nominations in 41st PMPC Star Awards for Movies

Award-winning film Green Bones continues to prove its excellence and empowering impact on the local movie industry.

Recently, the 41st Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies unveiled its dazzling list of nominees. 

Along with other Kapuso stars and projects, Green Bones proudly led the pack with over 14 nominations across major categories!

The inspirational drama earned nods for Movie of the Year and Movie Ensemble Acting of the Year, recognizing its powerful storytelling and compelling performances.

Kapuso Drama King  Dennis Trillo once again received a nomination for Movie Actor of the Year, while Ruru Madrid and Wendell Ramos both landed in the Movie Supporting Actor of the Year category.

Meanwhile, Huwag Kang Titingin star Sofia Pablo made an impressive film debut as she earned a nomination for New Movie Actress of the Year. Kapuso child actress Sienna Stevens was once again recognized as Child Performer of the Year.

But the film’s success didn’t stop with its stellar cast. It also shined behind the scenes!

Director Zig Dulay was nominated for Movie Director of the Year, while screenwriters Ricky Lee and Anj Atienza were honored in Movie Screenwriter of the Year. The film’s stunning visuals and production value also earned nods for Neil Daza (Movie Cinematographer of the Year) and Marxie Maolen Fadul (Movie Production Designer of the Year).

The post-production team received equal recognition, with Benjamin Tolentino (Movie Editor of the Year), Len Calvo (Movie Musical Scorer of the Year), and Albert Michael Idioma & Nicole Rosacay (Movie Sound Engineer of the Year) completing the film’s impressive list of nominations.
