GMA Pictures finds Ella Arcangel voice talent, teases netizens to guess who it is

The excitement continues as Ella Arcangel: Awit ng Pangil at Kuko prepares to come to life on the big screen.

Last October 2025, Julius Villanueva’s 2017 comic series finally released its highly anticipated trailer.

After getting a sneak peek of the film’s fantasy world, fans quickly expressed their excitement.

Many are especially looking forward to the voice actors who will bring their beloved characters to life.

Recently, the buzz grew even stronger when GMA Pictures released a new teaser. This time, they hinted at finally finding the perfect voice for the main character, Ella Arcangel.

“MAHULAAN N’YO KAYA KUNG SINO ANG BOSES NI ELLA? ????‍?????” they teased in the caption.

“From comic pages to the big screen — Ella Arcangel: Awit ng Pangil at Kuko comes alive this 2026! ????????????????”

The film follows the story of Ella, a young mambabarang who defends Barangay Masikap from men and mythical monsters.

The horror-fantasy comic series gained recognition and praise for its socially relevant themes, such as corruption, poverty, the drug war, and unemployment.

Ella Arcangel: Awit ng Pangil at Kuko is brought to life by National Book Awardee Mervin Malonzo (Tabi Po) and produced by Manny Angeles, Avid Liongoren, and GMA Pictures.
