The Iloilo City Government, through the official social media page of Mayor Jerry Treñas, informed that a portion of Muelle Loney in front of the grandstand (half lane) is closed starting January 15, 2024 for the construction of the Performance Area and Judging Area 1 for the "Dinagyang Festival."
"As a result, we anticipate some traffic congestion in this area. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation during this construction period," the advisory reads.
"For your safety, we urge everyone to remain vigilant and patient while traveling through this area. Let's prioritize road safety and ensure a smooth flow of traffic for the duration of the construction," it further states.
The "Dinagyang" in honor of the image of the Señor Santo Niño is set on January 28, 2024.
