The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has advised consumers of a 12-hour scheduled power interruption in parts of Iloilo City and Iloilo Province on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
The power outage is set from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Affected areas are MORE (Diversion, Megaworld and Molo Substations), GBP MGEN (PPC 1 and Banuyao) and ILECO 1 (Pavia Substation).
NGCP will conduct preventive maintenance activities on that day at the 100MVA Transformer No. 1 at NGCP Iloilo Substation and other associated works including PPC 1 Substation.
Specific affected areas are determined by the distribution utility and electric cooperative.
“NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled,” the advisory on Thursday, February 13, 2025 reads.
