Residents of Palayan City, Nueva Ecija are growing anxious over a series of incidents involving livestock getting stolen.

From January 2025 to February 2025, at least three cows have been stolen in Barangay Aulo, along with several goats and gamefowls.

Bones and skulls were found later, raising concerns about organized theft.

No suspect has been caught, so far.

A barangay official said the incidents began after the removal of local checkpoints.

To prevent other incidents, barangay officers are now keeping watch around the clock.
