Arrival of over 170,000 tourists in Boracay Island in the Municipality of Malay, Province of Aklan was recorded in February 2025.
Based on the data from Malay-Boracay Tourism Office, a total of 174,966 tourists visited Boracay Island from February 1, 2025 to February 28, 2025.
A total of 125,554 are domestic tourists wherein 3,406 are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), while 46,006 are foreign tourists.
The Local Government Unit of Malay said it braces for the expected influx of tourists in March 2025 to April 2025 being the peak season in Boracay.
