The urns that keep the ashes of the couple and their seven-year-old daughter were taken to the Iloilo City National High School for viewing on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

The couple were teachers of the Iloilo City National High School. They and their daughter were trapped in a fire that struck their ancestral house dawn on March 8, 2025 in Barangay Infante, District of Molo.

The urns were taken to the school gym for school administrators, teachers, students, and parents to view before the scheduled interment on March 18, 2025 at Forest Lake by 2 p.m.

Teachers Julius Reyes and wife Louelyn, and their daughter Amber will be given a school tribute by the ICNHS community, including Amber’s classmates from Molo 1 Elementary School and her teachers.

The viewing is set from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The urns will be taken back to the funeral homes chapel in the District of Mandurriao from March 14 to 17, 2025 for the vigil prior to the interment.

On March 11, 2025, Msgr. Jose Marie Amado Delgado, parish priest of Santa Ana Church in Molo, officiated a Holy Mass at 5 p.m.

Over 200 individuals attended the Mass, mostly co-teachers of the couple at the Iloilo City National High School, and teachers of Molo 1 Elementary School.

The Mass and prayer vigil were carried out in front of the destroyed ancestral house.

Earlier, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that the cause of the fire was electrical in nature.
